What is Success?

How to Define Success in Life

There are some questions in life which are tricky to answer and the meaning of it keeps changing as we progress in life. I mean, Success has many meanings and every person has a different meaning of success. Sometimes the respect in the community or the top jobs in the big organization or winning a race or losing 5kg weight in a week or simply being happy in life makes you feel successful.

So the first question arises: What is a definition of success?

The oxford dictionary describes success as: “attaining wealth, prosperity and/or fame”.
In other words, you could say, success means the achievement of desired results of planned goals. Hence, if you can achieve your set goals, you will feel successful.

However, If the above definition was true then all the wealthy and famous people would be extremely happy but we often read that it's not the case. The reason why we think in such a manner because Media and Society often let us conclude that living a successful life means to be extraordinarily wealthy and have a lot of assets. However, the true meaning of success goes far beyond the common definitions of success, such as having a lot of money, being wealthy, having a lot of tangibles and earned degrees. True success in life cannot be measured with the above-mentioned factors.

The Power of words That Will Reshape Your Approach To Life

We are living in an internet age or post-truth world where we are constantly overloaded with information. That's an another debate whether it's useful or useless. However, this post is about words that has power to reshape our approach to life.

I don't know if you have experienced ever but sometimes words speaks to you when you are in silence. It happens to me a lot. Words  have  power  to  desire, to inspire, to attract, to love,  to hate, and to live.

The power of words

Words have evolved through the ages in lockstep with humankind. Perhaps more than any other factor, it is the mastery of language that sets us apart from the animal world. But words are slippery things. We often hear statements such as “those are only words.” It is well-known that they can be used to inspire as well as to illuminate or deceive. In any debate, similar language is used by both sides to present completely opposite views.

Once upon a time, in a town called far far away, A seller  had  two parrots  to sell. Green  parrot  cost  more  than that  of  multi  colored  parrot who was apparently more  beautiful and attractive.

One buyer was passing through this shop when he saw these parrots and the price of both the parrots that made him wondered. So he went  inside the shop and  inquired about those  parrots. The seller confirmed the rate as written on the tag.

The buyer was surprise at the price difference, the Green parrot costs 1000 bucks while multi coloured costs only 150 bucks. So he asked curiously to the seller, "why the beautiful parrot  costs less?"

Let me demonstrate you, what you are not seeing. Then, the Seller clapped near the green parrot. The Green parrot said, "Namaste, how are  you today? wish you a very happy day."

The buyer replied, "I am very well, thank you." and got impressed.

The buyer was surprised at fluency of speaking words and said, "I understad now, why the green parrot is more expensive. The green can speak."

The seller said, "So can the multicolored parrot."
